The Day Dreamer award

I have been nominated for this very funny award, which I have chosen to accept, called the Day Dreamer Award. I was nominated by Ritu of ” But I smile anyway” at I want to thank Ritu who writes very funny posts almost every day, so much so that I look forward to her hearty and down to earth posts every day. She is a fellow Enid Blyton fan and an avid book reader like myself. She has two children and so do I. She loves children and so do I. She has a cat called Sonu and I have one called Sunshine. But there is one difference – I personally love and prefer dogs to cats, any day. It just happens that I keep a cat.

She has set me a challenge which is  to describe your dream dinner party, complete with your dream dinner guests!

My dream dinner party would have just my husband and I, with my children. It would be at home with the lights dimmed, soft music playing. All of us would be seated around the table, and food would be served to us by invisible hands, bringing us food as we wish for- our wishes would not be spoken aloud but would only come to our minds and the food would appear. Plates would be cleared as if by magic. Courses would appear on their own. We would be sitting on cushions which would be soft and relaxing. The music would lull us into a near dream state. Dessert would be healthy and fruitful. During dinner we would dance and the music would be exactly what we wish for but without words. Our thoughts would be captured by the musicians and played as music by adept hands. The dinner would be followed by gifts and each of us would choose anything we wanted and the best part would be, there would be no bill to pay.

I would like to pass on the award to the following blogs :

My challenge would be that you write about your one unspoken dream for yourself, how you wish to see yourself in the future.

Here are the rules:

1. Thank the person who gave you the award.

2. Complete the challenge they set you.

3. Select a blog or blogs that you want to give the award to. (The amount of blogs you select is unlimited!)

4. Tell them about it and set them a challenge.
