I have been reading some and then some more. This morning I found a book and in it I found a small stanza of a poem by one of my favourite American poets of all time- Ralph Waldo Emerson. Since I have nothing original to say, I thought it would be good to share words of great people.
“To laugh often and much,
To win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children,
To earn the appreciation of honest critics and
endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others,
To leave the world a little better,
whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life
has breathed easier because you have lived,
This is the meaning of success.”
