2018 Outdo yourself Reading Challenge

  1. How many books did you read in 2017 ? What’s your target for 2018 ?
  2. 2018 Outdo Yourself Reading Challenge  : If your goal for 2018 is to read more, then this reading challenge is for you !
  3. Reading Challenge Details : This Challenge runs January 1, 2018 -December 31, 2018. ( Books read prior to 1/1/2018 do not count toward the challenge)
  4. You can join anytime from now. Sign up now in the link at the bottom of Corinne’s post.
  5.  The goal : to read more books in 2018 than you did in 2017. See the different levels below and pick the one that works best for you. You can move up a level as often as you’d like but no moving down. Remember, the idea is to challenge yourself.
  6. Format : Books can be in any format( print, e-book, audio)
  7. Genre : Books can be in any genre( fiction, non-fiction, romance, mystery…)
  8. Novellas : Those that are 100 pages in length or a few less or more as well as full-length novels will count towards this challenge.
  9. Re-reads and cross-overs from other challenges : Allowed.

  1. This sounds like a great challenge as I love love love to read. My downfall is that when I am reading it can be kind of addictive for me and I don’t get anything else done!
    I am going to have to check into this. Thank you Susie for putting it on your blog so we could find out about this challenge.

    1. Faye, it is a good goal to aim for at least 5 books a year. I understand about the addiction and i am like that. The only thing that is a bottleneck for me is the finances to keep procuring new books and a place to keep them in.

      1. I love going to our local town library. I can read all the books I want for free! As long as I get them back by the due date. I totally understand about the lack of space to put purchased books…my shelves are quite full.
