We have just a few birds here, what there are hang out where there is shade from the sun.
They wait for the hose pipe to be opened for a drink and a bath.

They do sing beautifully. There are mynas too- am not sure if you have mynas in the USA. They start their songs around 1 am at night, as it does get light over here from them on.

I like bird watching now. I never did appreciate it when I was younger. Yesterday, DH, Mama, and I saw a beautiful cardinal. God made such beauty in the world!

I guess you have universal birds. We have sparrows and doves, too.

They seem all the more important during the COVID time because their songs seem louder and their antics amusing because we have the time to watch them.

We have robins feeding their babies in a bush only a few feet from our dining table on the porch. They fuss when we are eating, but they are getting used to us.

Oh beautiful- wish we could see them here. Thats the difference from here- the birds rest on the trees here but in the US, I saw them making their homes within bushes even. The trees perhaps were left for the squirrels.

Birds nest in trees as well as bushes, but they are harder to spot.

I wish you the best with your new journey. I like being along albeit on an armchair.

We have doves and sparrows (lots of sparrows around my house) … I hope someone will give them a drink of water after you depart.

I don’t think anyone will venture out in the daytime during the summers here to give these birds a drink or a bath.

Ah, that’s too bad – I am sure they are parched with your heat.
